#lipmania! 4 different looks to try right now
The focus is on fun with our #lipmania event in Campaign 5. With so much talk about covering up this and emphasizing that, we sometimes forget that makeup is fun! It??s time to play around with different lip looks and see what makes you look and feel amazing.
Here are 4 ways to mix and match lip products to create different looks. Try them all and see what works for you!
1. Classic red ?? the red lip is a favourite of high-profile celebrities. To perfect a red lip, you need a stay-put liner like True Color Glimmersticks Lip Liner in new Cherry. With lips well-defined you can then add colour with the finish you want.
- For a satin finish, try True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Candy Red, or Red Delicious. You can even layer on some extra shine with an Avon Crave Lip Gloss. They??re so sheer, you??ll still have red as your main shade, with a light wash of scented, flavoured gloss. Delicious!
- For a cream finish, try True Color Lip Crayon in Red Haute.
- For a matte finish, try True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Red Supreme.
2. Neutral / nude lip. The nude lip works well for either a ??no makeup? look or with a bold, black liner on your eyes. Start with a neutral liner like True Color Glimmersticks Lip Liner in new Au Naturel or Nude. Next, add a lip shade in the finish you want.
- For a matte look, try True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Perfectly Nude.
- For a satin finish, try Beyond Color Lipstick in Twig.
- For a little sparkle, try True Color Lipstick in Sparkling Nude.
- For a truly sheer, nude look, try Avon Crave Lip Gloss in Birthday Cake, Citrus Sangria, or even Honey Tea.
3. Berry-stained lip, also sometimes called ??I just ate a popsicle.? It??s a fun one to try! For this look, you don??t want a well-defined lip so skip the liner and go straight to a berry or popsicle-inspired shade. Application is key. To get the ??stained? look, apply lip colour to the middle of lips and then use a brush to bleed the colour out. Try these shades:
- True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Concord Grape, Dragonfruit Blush, or Persimmon Pink
- True Color Lipstick in Golden Berry
4.Super-dark lip. This dramatic look makes a bold statement. Start with well-defined lips in a deep shade, like True Color Glimmersticks Lip Liner in Chocolate or Perfect Plum. Next, apply lip colour in a dark shade. Deeply pigmented formulas like our True Color Bold Lipstick work well for creating this look. To try:
- True Color Bold Lipstick in Power Plum or Bold Bordeax
- True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Superb Wine or Hot Plum
- True Color Lipstick in Vamp
- True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Black Cherry
